Tim's Product Design CD cover

This idea has so much to it and could be developed into hundreds of different designs but to save time I have only made 4 designs like the other 2 ideas. I had 2 possible roots for this idea: the first was to design a different kind of case to hold the CD and the second was to use a printing method called Embossing which would leave an engreaved finish on a simple card CD case. To save time and get the best look i have chosen looking into embossing.

The idea for this again was to keep it simple but very effective and try to make the most of the look that embossing gives.
The lines on the designs will all be engraved in thick card for the final mock up:

For the final mock up I have chosen design number 2 because it has a gorgeous look to it and will make the most of the detail achievable from embossing. The design also comes from Hot Chip's cover for their album The Warning.
