On Location - First Day Filming

Photo stills from our first day of filming. The filming session went really well, as we had plenty of time to complete all the shots we wanted to film originally and we also had extra time to film additional shots and to experiement with various filming methods. The day highlighted to us the importance of planning, as without our previous planning ideas the day's shedule wouldn't have run as smoothly as it did for this session. This is what gave us our extra time, which we used to our advantage to film as many additional shots as possible and to take our time filming the stop motion sequence, to ensure that it looked effective. Filming the shots which included the artist and figures (excluding them in stop motion) in total took roughly 1 hour 40 minutes to shoot. Whilst the first scene of the figures in stop motion took 35 minutes to shoot. Taking these times into consideration, on Saturday the 23rd we are looking at filming for most of the day.
