Because we have decided to include performance in the form of a busking band, we were thinking of ways we could include the drums into the performance. I (Alex) then remembered a band I had seen live called One:eskimO who, instead of using drums, uses a box-like thing instead. They make the beat by hitting it with what looks like a tassle. We were thinking we could use this as the drums because it makes the same sound and looks authentic in a busking band, they also use this alongside a bass drum. This photo below shows the band:

After further research i have found out this box is called a Cajon and originated from Cuba. These are relatively easy to make (there are instructions online) and are around £80 to buy. We're going to make our own version of this for our video to minimise on costings.
