After collectively thinking together as a group and looking back over our evaluations of the three songs we'd managed to pick out before hand; the song with the largest amount of positive points was Mumm-Ra's "She's Got You High". There were many further strengths for using this song as our track for the music video, additional to the one's we'd evaluated in the previous song decision post.
- It would be easy to create an illustrative relationship between the visuals and lyrics of the song,
- The beat is easy to identify, which will be useful if we choose to edit the shots to correspond with it,
- The introduction to the song would allow us time to highlight the narrative at the beginning of the video, for example, a change of shot/camera angle on the beat,
- By researching the meaning behind the song, this has allowed us to create a narrative that runs along side the meaning of the track, also the meaning isn't very complex which allows us to focus completely on the visuals.
