This video is stereotypical of Ok Go quirky and unique video style. The synchronised action in time with the beats and sounds in the song is stereotypical of most music videos, the main difference between this video and most other music videos is that this doesn't have a narrative making in abstract and is also an example of disjunction (Andrew Goodwin) although, this is quite common within the indie genre. There is a heavy use of tracking dollies for this is one continuous shot editing together with slow motion and speed altering, this makes the video unique and original in comparison to the stereotypical indie video but normal for Ok Go's videos.
The band in this video could be seen as the televised bard (Sven E Carlsson) because the whole video is of the band singing and telling a story, although the story doesn't match the action. The main themes running through this video is the whole space between the band and the mixture between the different types of shot e.g. stop motion, slow motion and speeding up.
